For the eagerly anticipated Salaar sequel directed by Prashanth Neel, it’s lights, camera, and action! Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, two South actors, will begin filming Salaar Part 2: June will see Shouryanga Parvam, according to Hindustan Times. Salaar Part 1: When Ceasefire debuted in theatres in December of last year, it competed favourably with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki but yet performed admirably at the box office.
Salaar Part 2: Update on Shouryanga Parvam
Ever since, there has been talk about the action project’s second phase. According to information obtained by Hindustan Times, the producers have finally given the go-ahead for the second instalment, which will begin production in June. It has come to our attention that Salaar Part 2 will open for business in the latter part of June.
Prashanth has been working on the script for Salaar’s sequel ever since the movie’s premiere. He and his writers have been honing the script in light of the comments and reception of the first instalment. He is now prepared to resume his job and document his vision on film, according to an insider.
Getting things going big-time
Salaar Part 2 is anticipated to begin its voyage in Hyderabad and Chennai. “Prabhas and Prithviraj will begin filming the movie in the latter part of June.” The movie’s first timetable consists of 15 days. First, they are filming fast-paced action scenes. The insider says, “Prashanth is planning to go all out with the second part of the film. They will be shot in Chennai as well as the film city in Hyderabad.”
Salaar 2 is expected to delve more into the friction and struggle that exists between Prabhas and Prithviraj’s personas. According to the insider, “the second part of the film will also come packed with a lot of action, emotions, and drama.”
Aiming for a Christmas release
Regarding the premiere date, the filmmakers intend to get the movie out by Christmas of 2025. The first instalment of Salaar was made available around Christmas of last year, and the sequel is scheduled to be released at the same time. They hope to establish relatability with the audience and establish it as a trend for the movie franchise. According to the insider, Prashanth will film most of the movie this year and complete the editing in the first half of 2025.
Along with Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Jagapathi Babu, Madhu Guruswamy, and others, Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire also starred. The movie narrates the tale of two buddies who turn into enemies and how Khansaar is impacted by their dynamic. On December 22, the movie was made available in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
